no because minnows can live with other minnows
I won't lie, Minnows don't have a very long life-cycle. Minnows are first eggs laid near water plants and rocks. After just a few weeks, the minnows hatch into teeny-tiny fry. (baby minnows). The baby minnows stick together into a tiny school. Keeping each other save and feeding together. After a few more weeks, the fry turn into Adult minnows and separate. However sadly, once they are adults they are eaten my bigger fish, and mammals.Olivia the animal lover

It is possible that the mom dwarf hamster may exhibit aggressive behavior towards the dad if she feels threatened while protecting her babies. It is recommended to separate the parents once the babies are born to avoid any potential conflicts.
Minnows should be fed once or twice a day, depending on the size of the minnows and how much they eat each time. It's important not to overfeed them to prevent water quality issues in the tank. Feed only as much as they can consume in a few minutes.

Males should not be with females during pregnancy or birth. It cant be with the babies until they are big. The male will eat the babies. You have to separate them after they mate
sometimes is okay
After giving birth to the babies separate the male from the female and babies or else the male will try to kill them. after a few week or so separate the mother and then separate the female and male babies or else they will mate at an early age and have undeveloped babies
