Put some crushed peppers into the hole.
No, because if you put one in the house it may shock or kill your dog.
Your dogs digging might be a sign of not being stimulated enough. Either find him/her a activity to that will keep it busy or train it. Training can be done by first bringing it outside. Once it begins to dig create a distraction noise to stop him/her. If he/she sops and looks up at you give him/her a treat. He/she will eventually learn that not digging in the yard is a good thing.

stop feeding it and taking care of it and it will die
Nearly all dogs will dig if given the opportunity, but some breeds are more prone to this behavior than others. All terriers love to dig; dogs like terriers who have been bred to "go to ground" after small prey will try to dig up any place that they believe may turn up something to chase. If you don't want a dog to dig, don't get a terrier. When dogs do dig and you want them to stop, you can put some of their fresh poop in the hole and it will at least temporarily stop the digging. You may have to keep putting in fresh poo to keep them from still wanting to dig there, but for some dogs this will help stop the habitual digging.
What my dad did with our dog is we got her to stop digging and how we did that is we put chicken wire under the ground and when our beagle tried digging she got annoyed by the chicken wire. Hope it helps. -C.J

Well you could call a company and have them put wire right inside about 5 inches on the inside of the fence so when it goes by the fence the dog will get shocked. You could also put the fence really deep in the ground.
To stop your dog from digging, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, designate a digging area, discourage digging behavior with positive reinforcement, and address any underlying issues such as boredom or anxiety.
you can just have him on a cabel just out of reach of the bed or if you have control of your do just say 'NO' I might suggest putting up a fence around it with a door so you can get in it or if you dont like the idea of people not being able to see your garden you might look into a electric underground fence installment. ========================= aside from putting up a fence around flowerbeds, consider provide her with a "legal" digging area--a small portion of the yard (away from the rose bushes) where she can dig to her heart's content. Cover the area with sand or dirt and bury treats and toys there to entice her to begin digging.
To stop your dogs from digging, provide them with enough exercise, mental stimulation, and attention. Create a designated digging area, discourage digging in unwanted areas, and consider professional training or consulting a veterinarian for behavioral issues.
buy a BB gun and shoot em up... (depending on where u live)
You can stop by making a fence
To effectively stop a dog from digging in the yard, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, designate a digging area, use deterrents like rocks or chicken wire, and supervise and redirect the dog when they start digging. Consistent training and positive reinforcement can also help modify this behavior.
Get a fence that bends outwards to that the cat will have trouble climbing over and make it go a couple inches underground so they cant get under. A wire fence is best.

If i put down fruit, seed, berries etc, in an area where they will be out of the way, will it make the badgers stop digging and eat where i put the food? Help with this would be very much appreciated. Hopefully I'll get an answer before my golfers do something drastic!!
