1. Increase in herbivore population

2. Overgrazing leading to deforestation

3. Deforestation leads to lack of rainfall and permanent alteration of climate

4. Erosion of top soil as the plants hold the soil.

5. Because of 3 and 4 agriculture gets hit. Hence starvation

6. The atmospheric pollution and oxygen content become lower because of deforestation, this leads to health hazards.

7. Toxic gases in the atmosphere can give rise to acid rain.

8. Toxic gases can deplete the ozone layer and hence permeation of hazardous rays

9. Effluent insulation of atmosphere can lead to increased global warming.

The list is endless and applies to any apex predator in an ecosystem be it a tiger or a brown bear
