Plants and animals are not similar however they do affect each other. Plants make their own food using photosynthesis. Animals must consume other organisms to get their nutrients. Plants also do not have nervous systems, while Animals do. They are also in completely separate kingdoms of life (animals are in anamalia, plants are in plantae).

∙ 8y agoPlants usually live in forests or wetlands. Animals range from a variety of climates. Such as wet areas, to dry. Warm areas, to cold. Also, animals live where they best adapt to. Humans are adapted to houses where it's not to cold or hot. But the polar bear has to live in a cooler climate so that the stored blubber doesn't overheat him/her. Tropical animals have to live in warmer regions near the equator to stay warm. Plants and animals live everywhere on earth, in every conceivable climate and circumstance.
