Our Cali eats 1 1/2 to 2 cups of romanie lettuce twice a day (7am and 6pm); unlimited timothy hay is available at all times; and he gets anywhere between 3-9 baby carrots depending on who's home and for how long We also feed him pineapple, parsley (italian and regular leaf), cilantro, apple, and strawberry tops (greens! little red as possible) VERY SPARINGLY.
AVOID: anything starchy, carb, fats, sugar, or high in calcium. E.g., spinach, potato, tomato, kale, yogurt drops, alfalfa hay, etc.
PELLETS SHOULD NOT BE FED TO A HEATHLY ADULT RABBIT.Pellets are made to "fatten up" the rabbit for meat purposes, they have no business being fed to a pet, unless you intentionally want to shorten their life span (and with these beauties, who would want to do that?)

Baby Californian white rabbits, like all young rabbits, primarily consume their mother's milk until they are about four weeks old. As they begin to wean, they can gradually be introduced to hay, fresh vegetables, and specially formulated rabbit pellets. It's important for their diet to be high in fiber to support healthy digestion. Always ensure they have access to clean, fresh water.
