Most animals in precipitative conditions have umbrellas growing out of their ears for obvious reasons. Some have evolved through natural selection to have developed rain resistant membranes whilst others wear mackintoshes and galoshes. However for windy weather, fish have developed vents in their necks to allow wind flow. Many species, to combat the old, take a hot beverage before sleeping to keep them toasty.
