baby rabbits can eat alfalfa around 5-6 weeks old. If the babys are still with their mother you can introduce the alfalfa to them around 5 weeks and they will start on their own to feed. as long as mother is still nursing them. don't feed them any fresh alfalfa or vegatables until 8 weeks. I hope that helps!
the grass will give it energy to jump faster and higher.
Rabbits are herbivores. The only living thing rabbits eat are plants. See the related question below for more details about what rabbits eat.Other AnswersSome female rabbits will need to eat meat before they have babies because they need the protein and if they don't get it they will eat their babies.I've never heard of that before. It is definitely not recommended to feed your rabbit meat, ever, even pregnant rabbits. Rabbits are herbivores and can't digest meat properly.
Most rabbits dig for food, but others sometimes get given it. They either eat fruit and vegetables from someone's garden, find their food on the ground (fruit dropping from trees), eat grass, or find fields which are growing (corn, wheat, etc.).Normally they eat grass, but mostly vegetation.Wild rabbits will eat any type of edible plants, and will also eat twigs and bark.Wild rabbits get their food by foraging and grazing. Wild European Rabbits eat mostly grasses and leaves. Other species have slightly different diets, but all rabbits are herbivores and eat plants only.Pet rabbits are given their food. They eat mostly hay, with some pellets and leafy green vegetables.Fruit is not a big part of any rabbit's diet. Too much fruit can quickly make a rabbit very sick (even deathly ill: GI stasis).
Rabbits are herbivores- they eat plants. Tame and wild rabbits. Rabbits and mice are both in the same family, and they would never eat each other. Rabbits teeth and digestive system are meant to consume natural vegetation (grass, lettuce etc) not meat. Even if a rabbit WERE to TRY meat, it would most likely become seriously sick and it might be fatal.
domestic rabbits need more than this but they can eat: clover, wild onions dandelions "fat" grass some flowers rabbits know what they cant eat. Most of the time they will refuse what is bad for them. But this doesnt mean that you can give them anything and they will refuse it. Sometimes they might eat something bad like chocolate.
