You have to be able to walk and have quite a strong grip so i would say about 5 or more depending on how big the dog is. If you are that age make sure your mum or dad is with you at all times!

If the dog is small the law is 7 and over if it is medium it is 10 and over and if it is a large dog you have to be 12 and over (on the other hand if it is your dog then it does not matter if under age make sure you have a responsible adult with you ) All this is from the animal law.

So far as I can learn , no state has passed any age limits on walking dogs. In most cities and towns, dogs have to be under control which usually means on a lease. Rabies shots and dog licenses are required many places, but if your dog is not causing any problems, it is hard to imagine that anyone would stop you. There are business licenses required in many cities, so if you are advertising and running a real dog-walking business, you need to find out exactly what is required. If you are only walking a few dogs for people in the neighborhood, nobody is likely to bother you unless your dogs are a nuisance. If your city has a special dog run, you must follow whatever rules they have for using the facility. If a dog you are walking attacks someone or causes property damage you and parents would be liable .

i don't think there is a certain age but if u want 2 be a baby sitter u have 2 be a t least 14 and u have 2 have a babysitter license or something like that
