Although it is true that many animals will use grass, for cleaning of teeth, and for digestinal reasons; animals that eat both meats and plants are known as omnivores. Such creatures would include; humans and pigs.
Big cats and dogs tend to eat grass when they have a stomach upset, not to clean their teeth.
Chimpanzees, bears, orangutangs, also eat both. Omnivours while not exclusively are often animals of higher intelligence

And all herbivores eat vegetables. My guinea pig (my other one died, and so did my rabbit - I also had 3 other guinea pigs, but they also died, they got eaten by foxes) anyway... my guinea pig eats vegetables and grass. She really likes apples and carrots, but too many can be bad for her as they are full of sugar. Her name is Scruffie.
