The brown spotted plethorum, a moth native to the Brazilian Amazon highlands, migrates as a group in the autumn and spring of each year. The group is called a 'plethora'. The plethora flies to northern Argentina breeding grounds in the open plains. There it has few natural predators, but the recent invasion of grass mold, known as Kinselliba conseco invades the moths' digestive system, killing a large percentage of them.
