Yes they do! Some animals specifically reptiles don't need their parents to feed them but i think that Ducklings do need their parents to feed them.
Early land animals had to return to the water to reproduce.

Actually, dinosaurs are bird-like animals, with a similar anatomy and lifestyle. They used to be classified as reptiles, or lizards, but now we have all the evidence in the world to say that "no, dinosaurs are more birdlike". Yet, this is still a widely debated subject.
