Depends on where you live. Generally, anything canine (coyote, fox, wolf) can and will kill a cat for food. Dogs can be trained to love cats (I know this as I have two dogs and a cat that love each other)... if not trained, they will chase a cat that runs, and may kill it. A mother raccoon might kill a cat to protect her babies.
It depends on the cat's size. If the cat is a large cat, most animals wont mess with it unless they are desperate. If it is a small kitten, animals like foxes, hawks, falcons, etc. will prey on it. Anyways, most animals wont mess with an adult cat.
