They are animals that can only digest plant matter.
Lions are secondary consumers because they eat other animals, who are usually herbavores. Herbavores are primary consumers because they consume producers, or vegetation. Vegetation is considered a producer because it relies directly on the sun to produce their food. The primary consumers then eat the vegetation. Because the lions eat herbavores, who consume the vegetation, they in turn also rely on the sun. They are secondary consumers because they eat the animals that eat the vegetation.
Yes alot of insects are herbavores. But some-like centipedes-are carnivores that eat other insects. However, some insects are omnivores (both) Sorry good luck :)
They just are herbavores. Kind of like some types of animals are. It means they do not eat meat and that just means Gorillas dont like meat.
They don't neccesarily like the taste of each other. Hamsters are very territorial of their space, and don't like it when other hamsters get in their way. Therefore, they fight and don't stop unless a human intervenes or they kill each other..because they dont want the other hamster to die from one of it's predadors so it rather eat the hamsteror because it is a battle of the fittest
Physically speaking, a horse is able to eat a human the way we eat animals. But it cannot, however, swallow you whole. But the chance of a horse attempting to eat you is pretty much zero because they are herbavores (plant eaters).
