General feed for horses is either Bermuda, Alfalfa or Timothy Hay. Some people feed hay Cubes or pellets as opposed to standard grass hay. Horses also love carrots, apples, sugar cubes and all horse cookies and treats (really they like anything sweet)
A horse eats a lot of food, it all depends on the age, the level of exercise a horse preforms and there taste buds. If the horse is pasture kept it is most likely to eat grass most of the summer and in the winter the owner might decide to put hay in the pasture. If the horse is stall kept and is worked hard like an Olympic jumper it might eat some concentrated oats and hay in the morning and might get some joint supplements and some corn at night. Some of the main foods are: Hay, grass, carrots, apples, oats, corn and grain. If you plan on having a horse and feeding it I would ask a vet to know what your horse needs.
Grass, Oats, hay, apples, carrots, cherry leaves, salmon berry leaves, sometime maple lleaves. If you type in horses on good and go to wikipedia and it should say diet and you can look up more info there too
Horses have a varied diet. They usually chomp on hay, or alfalfa, or sometimes even barley and oats. They have different needs, based on the breed, and size.

Horses are herbivores which means that they do not eat meat. Horses mostly eat grass and plants, and things, if they are wild, but if they are domestic, then there is a large agenda of things, such as oats, molasses, hardfeed, grass,( although all horses eat grass, including wild horses) hay, grain, straw, and lots of things more.
Horses will eat all three of those things. Horses are least likely to eat straw.
