A schnoodle is a dog that is a cross between a schnauzer and a poodle.
Schnoodles are a hybrid breed that is a cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. They do not originate from a specific geographic location, as they are intentionally bred by crossing these two breeds to create a new type of dog with desired traits from both parent breeds.
Sadly, most breeders do... They do it because they think it makes the breed look better, not for any health concern. They also remove the puppies dew claws, but this IS for a health concern.
We have owned two schnoodles over the years and sadly neither one has lived past 11 years. We have taken excellent care of them both, but it seems that they have a genetic tendency to have heart valve problems. We had a veterinarian cardiologist for both and they confirmed that this does seem to run in schnoodles. I don't know, but it might help to carefully select your breeder as we acquired both of ours from individual owners. They are the most amazing dogs in that they possess a wonderful disposition, incredible inquisitiveness, and were the most "human like" of any dogs we have had over the many years we've owned "pets". To us, they were wonderful companions and dear, delightful friends! I highly recommend them even if they don't live as long as some breeds as they truly were an amazing blessing in our lives! It depends whether you have a minature, standard, or giant schnauzer. Usually, mini and standard schnauzers are full-grown by one year. I'm not sure with giant schnauzers, but would assume they would take longer.
Schnoodles are a breed of dog that is a cross between a schnauzer and a poodle. That is exactly what they look like, but mostly a schnauzer. They are generally medium-sized, and sometimes like to be lap dogs. Their color depends on the mother and father, but can include grey, white, black, and light brown. the schnauzer in them gives them their size and beard, but the poodle in them gives an adorable puppy-dog face with dark black or brown eyes. They are generally skinny dogs, but have a lot of very fluffy hair, which makes them look bigger. Schnoodles do not shed, because instead of fur, they have hair, like people. This does not make them any less fluffy or any more bald. In fact, their hair is generally very fluffy, and very soft. If your Schnoodle is shedding heavily, it may be a sign that your dog be sick, or having an allergic reaction. It is best to see a veterinarian in a situation like this. Do keep in mind, though, that all animals with fur OR hair shed. Even people shed hair from time to time. So if you see a few hairs from your schnoodle lying around, it's OK. ^^^if you liked this response, please recommend me!^^^
where can Ifind schnoodles for adoption?
Toy Schnoodles are 12- 15 inches Giant Schnoodles are 2-3 feet
Yes!!! Schnoodles are known as one of the best dog swimmers!
Toy Schnoodles can run up to 30 miles an hour. Although this seems fast for a Toy Schnoodle to run, it is not uncommon. The muscles in their hind legs are able to push the earth and push them to fast speeds.
It depends on the temperament of the dog. Some schnoodles (like mine) are more schnauzer in personality than poodle. Schnauzers are prone to excessive yapping if they are not trained properly. Corrective behaviour training will counter excessive barking and as schnoodles are very intelligent, it won't take too long for them to understand when their barking is innapropriate. Aside from the barking, they are also more prone to vocalise pleasure and displeasure with grumbles, moans and squeaks.
A sheltie poodle (sheltiepoo) definitely the best dog I have ever gotten

Some dogs, especially puppies are very playful - so much so they may need to be told when to stop if they get particularly worked up.
Think of the breeds involved. Schnauser. Poodle. Both very high energy dogs. Mix them and you have a very high energy dog.
There are no schnoodle seeing eye dogs. The Seeing Eye uses only German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, and Lab x Golden crosses.
A major schnoodle health issue is bad teeth that are very susceptible to rotting. They also have digestive issues so be mindful of the size of treats you give them as they can cause constipation.
