You can try stimulating the puppy's instinct to nurse by gently stroking its mouth and face with your finger. If the puppy still won't feed, you can try using a syringe to express some milk and gently feed it to the puppy. It's important to seek advice from a veterinarian if the puppy continues to have difficulty feeding.

your boxer probably is getting starved because as they get bigger they need more food. you cant gove the same amount of food to a 6 month old puppy then you can a 2 month old puppy. if he/she is still hungry and looking starved try to give it some more food

Before bringing a new puppy into a home that already has a resident dog, be sure that the adult dog is not territorial or in any way inclined to bite. Luckily, the majority of Staffies are amazing mothers and fathers to their puppies and hopefully your adult Staffy will pick up on this maternal behaviour (even if they are not the parent). Generally, the younger the puppy is the less likely it is that there will be as problem. To be precautious, introduce the two dogs in a neutral place, such as a park or field where they are not on each others territory. If everything goes well and they get to know each other, take them home and watch them carefully for any signs of trouble. Try not to let the puppy annoy the adult dog by jumping all over them, give the adult some space and everything should be fine. Good luck!
