Red frogs are sometimes dangerous, depending on their species. Their skin secretes a substance that is poisonous to a lot of animals. It does this in order to protect itself from predators that might try to eat it. But a lot of other frogs adapt this skin color as a protection also - except that these frogs don't secrete any poison.
