The letter markers in a riding school are A, K, E, H, C, M, B, F and X. You can remember this by saying All King Edward's Horses Can Make Big Fences. (You'll just have to remember the X by yourself.) A and C are the two short ends and X is in the center of the arena.
easiest ones are A, K , E,H,C,M,B.F These are the ones that are all round the side of the school also x is right in the center.

I used to volunteer at my old Riding school, and i got to do just about everything. Muck out, groom, lead beginners, clean tack, fill haynets, catch, turn out, tack-up, sweep the yard, feed - most general horsey things really. For your hard work, you may get rewards such as free rides. Hope this helps

It is generally not safe or appropriate to canter in a riding school arena when others are not mounted on horses. Cantering can create dust, noise, and unpredictable movements that may startle or disrupt other riders or individuals working on the ground. It is best to wait until the arena is clear or designated for you to canter safely.
Markers
In a riding ring, the markers typically belong to the riding facility or organization that manages the space. These markers, such as cones, poles, or letters, are used to indicate boundaries, guide exercises, and facilitate training. They may also belong to individual riders or trainers who use them for specific lessons or activities. Overall, the markers are essential tools for organizing and enhancing riding practice.

If you mean that you are horseback riding and there are letters in the arena, you are riding in a dressage arena. A dressage arena usually has eight letters around the sides of the arena. Starting on the short end, the letters should be AKEHCMBF. A and C are in the middle of the short sides and KEH and CMB are on the two long sides. These letters are markers that are used in a dressage test. gs
