A cat with a cold may sneeze, and have watery eyes and nose. More likely the will simply act fussy, and proably find some place to hide while they are not feeling well. Likely they will refuse to eat while they are sick.

Cats who suffer from stokes may have a variety of symptoms. Many cats will be lopsided for a while after and can suffer from temporary blindness and/or loss of bladder control. Other symptoms include walking in circles and loss of appetite. There is not much that you can to for a cat that has had a stroke. What you should do is ask your vet to help find the cause of the stroke. Typically, cats with Heart disease, thyroid disease, or kidney disease have strokes. For mild strokes, most doctors will tell you to wait and see.
