An amphibian is like a frog, or a toad. A bird would be considered as fowl. (Winged bird.)
All birds are warm-blooded, lay eggs, and have bills.
It depends on which bird is leaving the feathers for you! Try to figure that out and see what traits the bird has that it is trying to give you hints about. Of course, you might just be finding them because there is a molting bird nearby.

im guessing but does that mean like, feathers, claws, beak, wings and 1 butt??
Archaeopteryx was the first animal discovered that had both defining bird and dinosaur traits.
The Doerbird is a combination of a raven and an oriole. The raven is considered the smartest bird in the world, and the oriole is the hardest working, exemplifying the traits that VT-2 seeks to instill in Student Naval Aviators.
The evolution of a species is usually called "natural selection." Basicly animals with "good" traits live, while the ones with "bad" traits die. For example if a bird has a beak that is good for getting seeds, the bird will live, while another with a beak that makes it hard to get seeds will die. Then the birds with the good beaks will mate and their next generations will have those good beaks. Eventually none of the birds with bad beaks will exist. If enough of these changes happen the bird can become VERY different.
