Predators of long-necked turtles are: parasites, eels, snakes, goannas, Birds of Prey, dingos, pigs and rats. These animals usually prey on the turtles when they are still young, as once they are fully grown, it is usually harder to attack them. Some turtles also get taken by sharks that live in estuaries.
