To mate guinea pigs...
1) the female HAS to be younger than ONE year of age
2)you need to let the female get to know the male because the male (if dominant) will just go for it staight away!
3)When th mother is pregnant you might want to take her to the vet once or twice just incase the is a problem with the mother (this may threaten her SUVIVAL)
Male guinea pigs, or boars, are larger than the others. As far as behavior goes, they are much more aggressive and do bite. Very seldom do females (sows) fight, flare their teeth, or bite. Boars also use their 'Grease Gland' more than sows, so this will be dirtier and easier to see on their back end. (For this reason, be sure to wash boars every 2 weeks.)
If you are still not sure what gender your pig is, ask a vet. Guinea pigs' genders are very hard to tell, especially when they are young. When your pig is of age, have a pet store owner, or a veterinarian help you out.
Your question is not very clear but, if you want to own 2 female guinea pigs it is possible. If they start fighting, separate them.

If I undersstand your question correctly, I think you're asking if guinea pigs need to live with a roommate. Guinea pigs don't need to live with roomies, but they are most happy when they have a buddy. Obviously, you shouldn't put a male and a female guinea pig in the same cage. Two girls will be less aggressive than two boys.
