First of all if your kitten does not have its eyes open yet, or is still way too young to eat solid food, then you still NEED to feed him/her. For a while you will need to get a kitten bottle and some formulated milk. (NOT regular milk! Must get milk meant for newborn kittens). Usually kittens will start to try soft, solid foods at around six weeks old. If at any point a kitten is refusing food, you need to take it to the vet immediately. Kittens, especially young kittens, can go downhill very fast if left to their own devices.
