Efforts to save Giant Pandas include protecting their habitats, establishing breeding programs to increase their population, and raising awareness about conservation measures. This involves addressing factors such as habitat loss, poaching, and bamboo scarcity, while also promoting sustainable development practices in the regions where they live.
Humans are taking the panda's main two things vital to live-- habitat and food. Humans use bamboo for industrial purposes, and invade the panda's home, using the land for their own.Unfortunately they were hunted for there fur and meat by tribal people or people simply wanting the fur of a panda. The panda is thought to become extinct in 20 years.
The panda is endangered species dying because we humans are tearing down the bambo area that they eat from. Pandas are also adorable which make them a universal symbol for green earth. Pandas are just another reaseon we need to take care of our Earth so maybe that's what their symbol is trying to say! Save pandas= save the world!!!
The giant panda is special for a number of reasons. It is a unique symbol of China, and much revered by the Chinese people. Its colouring alone is special, because although it is a type of bear, its eye patches meant it was originally thought to belong to the raccoon family. The giant panda belongs to the order Carnivora, which are carnivorous, yet its diet is essentially based around the bamboo plant. It also eats some fruits, honey, eggs and yams. The giant panda is endangered because its habitat has been depleted by farming. Figures from 2007 suggest that there may remain only about 1,500 giant pandas in the wild (other research suggests there may be 3000 left). They are very difficult to breed in captivity, and even in the wild their birthrate is low.
