first of all bath him/her in lemon juice. Then you will be required to start a grooming programme, however it sounds like you need to ease it in, so first start by just brushing one leg a day for a week then start to groom more after this. repeat when the cat has fully lost hair the lemon juice bath. I used 12 parts water to 1 part lemon juice with 3 cloves of garlic for the first bath.
