Wasps, hornets and hoverflies. We have those big black bees and they have two tunnels in garage and one in bench. One or two hover all day in front of hole and bang anything that comes near except us. Which it bangs the gutter on garage instead. The area has a real strong smell kinda like the stink beetle. Guess it's the brood. I do love standing in front of it while it looks me in the eye hovering.
