If light catchs in the eyes of the flying squirrel during the night, their eyes shine a fiery red glow. It is a fantistic sight to see, two glowing red eyes staring back at you out of a tree in the middle of the night. They are fun to watch and very playful creatures, with surprising speed and grace. They can see in near total dark conditions, with moonshine or without.
It depends on the squirrel's diet. If it drinks more liquid it will be more dilute and clear. But if it's dehydrated or hasn't had much water, it will be more yellow in pigment.
Squirrel droppings are typically small and resemble pellets. They are cylindrical in shape, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length, and are dark brown or black in color. They may also have pointed ends on each side.
It sounds like the rodent you saw in the UP of Michigan on March 30th is likely a thirteen-lined ground squirrel. These squirrels are similar in size to chipmunks but have a more elongated body and pointy nose. They are known for their distinct thirteen-lined pattern on their back and can often be seen in grassy areas.
Only flying squirrels are nocturnal. All other types of squirrels are active during the early morning and early afternoon, this type of behavior is called crepuscular (as opposed to diurnal = active mostly during the day, and nocturnal= active mostly at night )

Light does not have a specific color based on the thermometer's location. The color of light is determined by its wavelength, which is emitted by the light source. The thermometer's location does not affect the color of the light.
The Color of Light was created in 1984.
The primary color of light is white.
