Baby cardinals look very different compared to adult birds because they have pink skin and gray scales. Once it begins to molt however the feathers will start to come out bright red and they will get their distinctive cardinal plume.
The feather color of a chicken does not affect the color of the eggs she lays. It is the breed of the hen that determines the egg color. A chicken that lays white eggs does not drop a brown egg every now and then either, a white egg layer will always lay white eggs. I have several white Araucana hens who lay Lavender colored eggs and a Black Cochin hen who lays light brown eggs (not black eggs)
Top Hat chickens will lay white eggs only. Their eggs are mostly larger sized. Each Top Hat chicken should lay around 200 eggs each per year.
Barred Rock hens lay white eggs because eggshell color is determined by genetics, and the Barred Rock breed typically lays eggs with white shells. The color of the egg does not affect its nutritional value or taste.
Robins lay small blue eggs with little spots.
well...ok you have to let her sit n them awhile and watch her..and after 2 to 2 1/2 weeks (if she'll let you) you carefully take the egg and hold it under a bright light and if there is a chick in it you should be able to see it will the mother chicken take care of it after it is hatched? or do u have to take care of it
inductive reasoning
Cardinals are cold-blooded. Cardinals lay out eggs. Andrew Andy
Peacocks do not lay eggs, being males. Peahen eggs are an off-white.
Feather coloring does not influence the color of the egg laid. The breed of the hen dictates what color her eggs will be.
Cardinals typically lay eggs in the spring, with their nesting season usually starting in late March and continuing through August. The exact timing can vary based on geographic location and environmental conditions. Female cardinals usually lay 2 to 5 eggs per clutch, and they may raise multiple broods during the nesting season.
Northern cardinals typically lay between 2 to 5 eggs per clutch, although some may lay as many as 6. The eggs are usually pale blue or greenish in color and are incubated by the female for about 12 to 13 days before hatching. After hatching, both parents participate in feeding the chicks until they fledge.
they are just like chickens...... they can lay different color eggs
