Green or Blue. But normally is Green.
If they are white it will be blue. Otherwise it doesn't matter. Also, if white cats have one blue eye and one other-colored eye, they may be deaf on the side with the blue eye.
Cats, like dogs, can see some colours: They can tell the difference between red, blue and yellow, and between red and green, although these are less distinguishable. Cats are able to distinguish between blues and violets better than between colours near the red end of the spectrum.
However, colour is of little importance to cats. They hunt by the motion of their prey, not by its colour.
Cats can have all kinds of eye colors just like we do. They can have green eyes and blue eyes. Most white cats with blue eyes are deaf.
They can also have gold, green-gold, yellow, orange, and maybe a few others.
No, not all blue eyed cats are deaf. If any any are then it is usually a condition brought about by some defect within the cats ears at birth. There is a more likelihood of an albino cat being born deaf. It doesn't mean having blue eyes makes you deaf.
They tend to be deaf. It doesn't make much difference, though, a cat won't listen to you anyhow ;-)
Yes, they are. Believe it or not, the gene that creates the color of black cats also fights off diseases, so black cats generally live long, happy lives. However, I am not sure if the same thing happens with tan cats, because white cats kind of get ill easily, and with blue eyes they are often born deaf, and as you know tan is just pretty much a darker shade of white/cream. The same things might NOT happen with tan cats though, because obviously it's a different color. I really don't know what to believe with the tan stuff though.
its weird because my cat does that too
it's just the way your cats eyes are
White cats with blue eyes have been known to be deaf.
No in most breeds white cats with blue eyes are deaf but with Turkish Angola cats are not deaf with a white coat and blue eyes.

This is not strictly true. White cats with blue eyes have an increased chance of being deaf due to their genetics. Not every white cat with blue eyes will be deaf, and white cats with other coloured eyes have very little chance of being deaf.
No. it is the same thing as people with different color eyes. Many white huskies have blue eyes, and are not deaf. Some may have blue eyes and be deaf, but the eye color is not because the dog is deaf, and same with the other way around.

I doubt it, but most Persians with blue eyes are partially or fully deaf.
Brown cats usually come in tabby types. There can be dark brown, which is like a very dark orange, or a pale brown, which is a little like cream color, which is like the normal color of a Siamese cat. The only kind of cat that can have blue eyes are white cats. If there is a white cat with blue eyes, he/she can be blind, deaf or both. Siamese cats can also have blue eyes. Those are the only two breeds that Vicki and I, the vets, know of with blue eyes.
Cats with this coloration are usually DEAF, not BLIND. It is in the genetics, somehow, maybe faulty breeding.
Snookthorn has amber eyes.
