Hi, Of course, hamsters should always have fresh water. I replace my hamsters water every morning and every night if that's needed. Hope this helped, HorseLuverHeart xD
You usually take them away from their mother at about 5-6 weeks of age. Depending on their growth, if they seem independent then leave them in there for another week. Otherwise they will start fighting. Especially the boys. That's when they hit puberty... So it would be wise to also separate they males and females if you had a litter.
Baby hamsters leave their mother at three weeks old.
When they open their eyes.
Baby hamsters leave there mother at two weeks old. They should not be separated from her until around 6 weeks old, so I would wait until this age before you try this.
