Haster food, I think.
Bees, being considerably smaller than a rat, can not eat the rat. Nor do rats eat bees.
Rats will eat anything, including dead raccoons.
no they dont<<<< actually rats CAN eat hamsters... males rats can be terrtorial and if a hamster enters their territory, then they will attack it and possibly eat it. Also, if they are very hungry, or starving, they will also eat them.
Most certainly. Rats have been known to eat almost anything, from "people" cheese to cardboard. There have been instances of rats eating their own feces to survive. Rats can eat cheese that people eat, but people shouldn't eat cheese that rats eat unless it's safe.
Yes, rats are known to eat shrews. Rats are opportunistic feeders and will consume a variety of small animals, including shrews, as part of their diet. They are omnivorous and will eat almost anything they can find.
No. Guinea pig food does not contain the right balance of nutrients for (hairless) rats. Hairless rats eat the same diet as normal rats. A safe food would be "lab" blocks, which can be found in any pet store or Wal-Mart.
Most rats, if not all, have a predominantly hairless tail, with few wisker-like bristles on them.
Hairless rats live as long as normal rats do; 2-3 years with proper care.
Hairless (or Sphinx) rats are able to eat ordinary rat food. They can eat either Muesli or Complete Foods such as Pets at Home Rat Nuggets that prevent selective feeding.
Sure you can :)
The hairless gene is a genetic mutation that occured naturally, and was bred purposefully. There are indigenous rats in some areas that have the hairless gene, but they are rare since natural selection does not favor a rat being hairless.
True hairless rats (they have no whiskers) are rare. The type you are likely referring to are those that are bred from two rexes (curly haired rats). Hairless rats should not be any different from haired rats, other than the lack of hair of course! You'll find each rat has their own personality anyway :)
