Care for jasminum sambac and its cultivars:
Most important it needs plenty of water every day so that the soil is moist but not wet (the roots needs oxygen so it can not stand in water)
In the winter(northon hemisfere) it needs less water
It loves sun, but can also sometimes be grown places were there is at bit of frost in the winter, the leaves will just die and the plant will then grow from its roots again in the spring - however, I have personally not been successful in growing it like that - I have it indoors.
It doesnt need Fertilizer but I use a little when it is really sunny.
As a indoorplant you can remove old flowers to stimulate new bulbs and to make the plant bloom longer
The only really big problem is mites and other bugs that can kill the plant relatively fast if it is not cared for - and if you have it indoors it will spread to other plants instantly - I find the cultivars more sensible to bugs than the botanical jasmine sambac
If you have jasminum sambac outdoors you must be aware that it is on the list on invasive species in warm climates - but it is not extremly aggressive.
