There are seven living species of sea turtles: flatback, green sea turtle, Hawksbill, Kemp's Ridley, Leatherback, Loggerhead and Olive Ridley. And they can't live without water. That's how they swallow so they need water to eat. They always live in fresh water.
A turtles claws arenormally in the back because they dig with there back legs and it is easier for them to dig with there back legs, like a dog. I have a turtle myself and have seen it use its claws before they are more like toes or fingers than claws. I could be mistaken because these are just my observations.

no they don't sea turtles don't stop and live in an area they continue to swim and explore when they sleep they keep there eyes open and are still swimming. to get rid of salt in there eyes they cry to get most of it out. but sea turtles do make there own burrows to lay there eggs but they never return to see the babies.
