Dogs are destroyed in all types of ways. Many people love puppies but when they get older they throw them in the streets. They also do what is called puppy mills which is the over breeding of dogs which causes all sorts of problems in the breed, like weak knees or poor heart function. And anther thing people do is bring dogs to shelters. It seems like a good choice and all, but in a year or two if the dog does not get adopted it has to be put to rest. Everyday hundreds of dogs are being put down in shelters because they don't get adopted. Sad but all true.
tell me if i helped
There are a number of different drugs that are used by Vets for euthanasia. Most are a combination of drugs- the first is an anesthetic that puts the animal into a deep sleep-like condition, and a second drug (usually some form of barbiturate) that stops the heart. When properly administered intravenously, it provides a painless end of life.
Dogs tend to act quite energetic and irractic when not spade. At least this is what I have had a few vets tell me. They emphasize on the ENERGETIC part.
