It's nothing bad at all trust me my cat is old and looses wiskers at first I know this is terrible to say but I thought she was dying. But shes not. It means they're molting (shedding). And its normal :)
They both: # have tails # have wiskers # come out at night # hate eachother
They are called wiskers.
Cats have whiskers because they help them tell how wide an opening or a hole is because their whiskers are the same size as their shoulders. It works like this:The cat finds an opening/hole and does not know whether he/she can fit through it so he/she put her whiskers through the opening/hole and if her whiskers get squished up he/she knows she cannot fit through. also, with wiskers a cat can remember its way around because they will know what hole they shoved there wiskers through and then they will be able to remember that they have gone the wrong way if they come across a hole or gap that they cannot fit through because then how can they possibly have got there?
No, a cat will not die if it loses its whiskers. Whiskers are a cat's tactile hairs that help them navigate their surroundings and can grow back if lost. However, without whiskers, a cat may find it challenging to judge distance or navigate in the dark.
A cat's whiskers are actually quite flexible and not prickly at all. They are sensitive and serve as a tool for sensing their surroundings, helping them navigate and hunt effectively. The whiskers can even help cats gauge if they can fit through tight spaces.
Yes it can the tail keeps it balancing. The wiskers tell the cat if the wiskers don't touch the sides of the hole or tight space than its whole body cat fit.

Their whiskers are hairs, so yes they grow new ones when others are lost.
Cat whiskers are so they don't bump into things. They let the cat know if the rest of their body will fit into a place so they won't get stuck.
Sir Wiskers is an overall great name. You can use it if you want, it's not copyrighted.
How to sense where you are like if you can fit into tight spaces such like wiskers on a dog or cat, also for balance.
Absolutely NOT. They are vital to directional changes while hunting/chasing prey. They also assist with detection of air movement and help the cat navigate between furniture and other obsticals at night.
