It is supposed to be read as "OUT Z" which means that the scale's zero point has out of normal range. This means that the load cell is either damaged from overloading, or calibration has been lost for some reason.

You can sometimes fix this error by calibrating the scale, but many times it means the scale has been catastrophically overloaded.
