By saying "you need to take your dog to a vet"
A 10-year-old would typically not be able to become a vet, as it requires years of education and training after completing high school. To become a veterinarian, one must complete a bachelor's degree, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, and pass licensing exams. Additionally, gaining hands-on experience through internships or volunteer work in veterinary settings is crucial.

If your cat is in pain or sick you should see a vet...they have stuff that they inject through a needle that will make the cat feel like its falling asleep and it will pass away peacefully. But if your cat is just old It should be fine just try to spoil it as much as you can until its time where it can pass away on its own happily. But once again if your cats in pain it wont help to keep it alive it will just suffer until it dies of pain so save your cat the pain and see a vet (In that Situation)

Vets don't need Master's degrees, they need Doctorate degrees (DVM-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine). Technically, they don't need Bachelors degrees for many vet schools either, they just need to pass entry exams, GREs, MCATs, etc. Because those exams require several years of classes (chem, bio, A&P) to prep for anyway, most vet students received BS or BA degrees before Vet school.
