- no dairy, meat, eggs, animal fats, or any animal byproducts, because rabbits are herbivores (vegan), and they can't digest these foods
- no dried spices, seasonings, salt, pepper, flavours - these are too potent for rabbits and can make them sick
- no oils or fats - rabbits get all the fats and minerals they need from their pellets, so any more in addition to pellets is unhealthy
