I don't think they go by grades cause in the series he's 12 and they say he's a second year later in the series and they call the new kids freshman even though they're 10 or 11 year olds

truthfully, i dont think there is ever a good time, especially for you but your kids may not be ready either. i, as a teenager myself, have learned that. my mother has never talked to me about it. it may be common for most parents to talk to there kids about it but they will tend to try and avoid it. it may be hard but it is sometimes best to let your kids learn on them self. you should also let them know that you are there if they want to talk but dont pressure them and make them feel scared to talk to you. but maybe the best way to lead up to the birds and the bees is to let them know if they have any questions or concerns about sexual things that they can come and ask you.
