It's full name was Red Dog Dan's Showtime Square on N.San Mateo in Albuquerque.

At its height during the mid-1970s it had a large main dance lounge, a game room on second floor, a smaller disco dance room, a large family restaurent, and strip club at the north end. I knew a bartender there and it was implyed that some unfavorable characters were eyeing RDDSSQ during the mid-1970s and tried to move in. Dan resisted. The club survived 2 mysterious fires but the clincher was the drug bust in the men's room involving minorities. It was quickly escalated into a racial issue against Dan and the club and a 3rd fire was set. There was alot of damage to the main dance area. After remodeling, the club was renamed Laramie Square but it didn't last due to changing times in the night club croud. The lounge closed and it was turned into a strip mall.
