Well, once I got scissors and cut 3 legs of a Daddt long legs Spider that was on my kitchen wall then what happens is the Spider fell of the wall and then, the Spider couldn't climb on walls anymore and then soon. It died.
What I mean is if a Spider loses some legs it cannot climb on walls anymore and will die later.
Yes, they can grow back. So long as the spider does not lose too much fluid the wound can usually repair and a new leg grown. But actually spiders are pretty good at getting around on only 4 or 5 legs, at least in the short term.
it means you're looking at a very scary spider
The Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa blondi) holds the title for the second largest spider species in the world. They can have a leg span of up to 11 inches and are native to South America. Despite their intimidating size, they are not considered dangerously venomous to humans.
Well if you unthread an ordinary spider web the thread will be appox. about 200 kilometer. Now believing or disbelieving is your choice.
There are a number of ways of defining 'large' with spiders, for example the weight, body length and leg span. The heaviest native UK spider is the Araneus quadratus, an orb weaving spider that is related to the common garden spider. The longest legged UK spider is either Pholcus phalangioides, also known as the cellar spider, and Tegenaria duellica - the giant house spider. Both have been found with total leg spans in excess of 5 inches. The house spider is also the world's fastest spider! The longest bodied UK spider is the raft spider, Dolomedes fimbriatus, where female specimens can reach nearly an inch in length.

a spider has eight legs
The spider with one long leg is called a tailless whip scorpion.
Of course any spider with eight legs has seven. There is no spider that naturally has only seven. A spider can lose a leg from injury. As the spider molts it gradually grows back the lost leg.
