Really wish I could give you a definitive answer. My 15 year old Basset has a large squishy cyst that has, slight coloration when drained. The vet said this was normal for fluid collection. Not sure exactly what you mean by pink though, pink tinged or PINK. You may want to have the fluid examined by a vet to see the type of cell which could tell you if it's cancerous or not. It's not definitive. How is your dog otherwise? Is there a suddend change in weights, appetite, lethargy?
A Cyst

Lingulodinium Polyedrum- is a species of dinoflagellate, the organism has two forms, the classic thecate shell, and a cyst
AnswerMore than likely it is a benign cyst. Those are the type that become filled with fluid/water. If the cat is in good health otherwise there is nothing to be concerned about. These type of cysts, sometimes enlarge enough to create problems for the animal, and then need to be drained or removed.* this can also occur with their lymphnoids AnswerOf course consulting a vet for any reoccurring problem is always your best option: However in the meantime, Continue monitoring the cat for any other abnormal symptoms and/or unusual behavior... Give your vet as much to go on as possible. The more information the vet gets from you the more accurate the diagnosis.. in other words they will be able to more accurately tell you if the bump is indeed a benign cyst or swollen lymphnoid.. ANSWER:you might want to think:''is it a tick?'',and take you cat,and the bump(a.k.a,do not skratch it of,yet)to the vet NOW.thank you and good night.
Your cat may have a bump because of the food it has been containg lately, or it could be the temprature in your house or outside. Nothing major.

A cyst on the liver is a fluid-filled sac that can be benign and typically does not cause symptoms. However, if the cyst grows large, it may cause pain or discomfort in the abdomen. Treatment is usually not needed unless the cyst is large or causing symptoms, in which case it may need to be drained or surgically removed.

Often, a device (shunt) is implanted within the cyst that drains the fluid away from the cyst and into the ventricles of the brain, or into the peritoneum (abdominal space), thus relieving the pressure.

This was then drained off. I have had no further problems since. Hi, I had a 14cms Renal Cyst aspirated which filled up again within six months.
