Most insects from cold regions can endure freezing temperatures. The coldest recorded insect is down to -60C. That's right negative 60. This was characterized in 3 larva. What the specific name it is. I didn't feel like going to the library for somebody on Wiki. But if you feel like looking it up here is the info and abstract.
Cold-hardiness strategies of some adult and immature insects overwintering in interior Alaska.

A variety of adult and immature insects, most of which occupy highly exposed habitats, successfully overwinter in interior Alaska. A number of adult beetles are feezing-tolerant. All exhibit relatively high supercooling points and synthesize large quantities of polyhydric alcohols in response to cold. At least four other orders are represented by adult insects that tolerate freezing, but in contrast to adult beetles, all exhibit relatively low supercooling points associated with the build-up of glycerol. At least three species of larvae that overwinter in galls undergo a remarkable increase in supercooling capability (to ca. -- 60 degree C) associated with synthesis of large quantities of glycerol in winter. None of the larvae tested could survive freezing in spite of their high glycerol levels.

Penguins are considered to be highly intelligent animals. They display problem-solving skills, exhibit social behaviors, and have complex communication systems. They also have the ability to adapt to different environments and food sources, which demonstrates their cognitive flexibility.
In the winter, wild horses really do not go anywhere. They are naturally able to survive the harshest and coldest conditions.

The coldest temperature at which a snake can survive varies depending on the species, but generally, most snakes cannot survive temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

The coldest temperature an ant can survive is said to be as low as -94 degrees Fahrenheit/-70 degrees Celsius. If exposed to freezing temperatures for long enough, an ant will die.
Yes, some species of cactus can survive quite far north and are able to tolerate all but the coldest of temperatures.
-119 is the coldest of the temperatures listed.
Most fungi can grow in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 35°C. However, there are some specialized fungi that can survive and grow in colder temperatures, with some species capable of growing at temperatures as low as -20°C.

Russia and Canada's northernly average temperatures are about the same, which makes them the coldest countries.
