Actually, if u are trying to answer the world tour on howrse, a falabella is a pony.
NEVER, even as a baby, EVER Ride a Falabella. Although they are athletic and highly intelligent, even by a small child riding a Falabella can permanently damage the horses back, even a new born. They are not meant to be ridden,Answer 2: The previous answer to this question was completely inaccurate.I have been breeding Falabellas in the UK for over 30 years. If you would like to visit our website you will see several examples of Falabellas being ridden. The idea that they could not be ridden was because the very first Falabella imports to the UK were foals/weanlings which people believed to be adult horses! As a rough guide, a Falabella (or any other miniature) can carry one tenth of its body weight so that a 150kg Falabella can carry 15 kg.
The smallest type of horse or pony is usually considered to be the Miniature Horse, which stands at 34 inches (86 cm) or less at the withers. They are known for their small size, gentle demeanor, and versatile abilities.
it is the same as a big horses name, it is called a mare
There is loads of different types of pony. if i went through them all i would be here all day. but the smallest one is called a fallabella and the biggest is called a clydesdale. and a horse that is over 14.hh is officially a horse but if under 14.hh it is then called a pony.
How heavy a horse is depends on their age, breed, height, fitness, type of work it does, how much their fed and many other things. For example, my 5 year old thoroughbred mare is 15.2hh and quite fit. She used to be an race horse but is now used for Pony Club (jumping and dressage) She weighs about 458 kilograms but we reckon she should weigh about 500 kilograms so at the moment we're feeding her extra. My pony is 15, new forest x mare, 14hh and really unfit. She should weigh about 400 kilograms but she currently weighs about 500 kilograms. Obviously a shetland pony would weigh quite a lot less than a shire, it depends.
