If you mean 'coatimundi', it is any tropical American carnivore of the genus Nasua. It has an elongated body, a long ringed tail with a slender, flexible snout. It is related to the raccoon. They are classified in the phylum Chordata, subphylum Vertebrata, class Mammalia, order Carnivora, family Procyonidae.
