A good brood mare is one that is healthy and able to give birth with little difficulty. They are usually a female born of very good lineage.
That depend on the mare.... if she has had a foal before and is having regular cycles it might be OK. If she has never had a foal before its not a good idea. The mares uterus looses its elasticity when they get older. I know of lots of older mares that have had beautiful healthy foals..... but I know of even more old mares that will no longer get in foal. Its really up to your mare and your vet. Good Luck!

To calculate a mare's estimated foaling date, you can use the mare's last breeding date as a reference point. A mare typically has a gestation period of around 11 months (340 days), so you can add this to the last breeding date to estimate the foaling date. It's also a good practice to have a veterinarian confirm the pregnancy and monitor the mare's progress.
It is never too late to check a mare in foal, until after the mare has foaled.
The broad flat plains on the moon are called lunar maria. They are large dark areas on the moon's surface formed by ancient volcanic activity. Mare Tranquillitatis, Mare Imbrium, and Mare Serenitatis are some well-known lunar maria.

most people think cheeky mare is a swear word but it is not
I have never heard of a nurse mare foal. If a mare dies, leaving a newborn foal, some mares are very maternal and they will let another mare's foal nurse. If there is not a lactating mare available, a nanny goat is a good substitute.

Lots of people go there on holiday so it must be reasonably good.
