A good dog science fair project could be testing the effects of different treats on a dog's behavior, conducting a taste preference test with dog treats, or investigating the impact of music on dogs' stress levels.
Got a dog? Get one of those dog whistles from the pet store that farmers use. Humans can't hear them so when you whistle it a dog will hear it (and hopefully come) and humans won't. Good luck. That was some else's answer, im doing my project on how different types of music affect a dog's pulse, in this way i sort of learn how dog's hear certain pitches, but yes, somehow involve the whistle in that too if yoy'd like... just sort of an idea.... believe me i understand, i have had to do quite a few science fair projects myself :) =D =P =) ~Emily~
There are some great dog foods on the market. Most vets suggest Iams brand, Pedigree, Science Hill Diet or Beneful. They are all very good for your dog.
bright coloursDogs don't really hate any colors (naturally) if they do the dog is crazy. BUT they HATE high pitched sounds. Sounds on dogs would be a great science project!
You should have your dog under a Veterinarian's care. If your dog has bladder stones, then they should be removed. How do you know your dog has bladder stones? They can be found only on x-ray. Your Vet will be the one to tell you which dog food is good for this condition. Iams dog food is just a regular dog food and not one of the prescription dog foods that are made for specific problems, such as kidney disease (K/D) or Heart Disease (H/D), etc. Normally Science Diet makes the prescription dog foods for specific problems.
Yes they are

you want to eat your dog?! are you crazy NO! it was for my science project!
For a science fair experiment you can experiment if a dog's saliva kills bacteria. First you get bacteria and put it on four microscpe slides. Then, you swab two dogs' mouths for saliva and then you put the saliva of one of the dogs on two of the slides and do the same with the other dog's saliva. Let it set for 24 hours and see if there is less bacteria than before.

You could run DNA of a human and a dog in an electrophoresis gel and show that the DNA is closely related but not the same and make notes that primates are closer to the DNA sequence of humans.
it depends on your dog and their personality and it also depends on the music you play for the dog, but if your doing a science fair project don't play more than one type of music a day or your dog might not react or help you with the project
Testing a dogâ??s ability to recognize different scents of family members is a good science project for kids. Can your family pet recognize your scent from your momâ??s? You can begin by training the dog to recognize your scent and fetch objects you have touched. Then see if the pup can do the same if you follow the same steps for another family member. The final test would be to have the pup fetch object on command for a person from a group of everyone's objects.

Set a line of pole about an inch and a half apart in your yard, then train a dog to weave through them.
It is possible to install large dog doors if they are needed as a do it yourself project. There are good videos on YouTube that will help someone learn how to do it well.
you can partly mummify it. just go on sciencebuddies.com and click on the top left corner-project ideas, and scroll down and look 4 life science and click Human Biology & Health and scroll down to the 3rd one down and click on it and you have the science project info.
