What is a good name for your dog?

You can name your dog anything you like. The dog will be happy with whatever you choose. Before you settle on a name, open the front door of your house and holler out the name down the street as if you were calling the dog. If it sounds silly or embarrasses you to call it out loud, pick a different name. I have named my dogs: Brandy, Gabby, Buddy, Muffin, Fuzz ,Ball and Lola

A couple good things to think about while naming your puppy;

1. Dont make it too long. Try one or two syllables thats easier for dogs to understand. But if you want a long name like Elizabeth or Nickolas, Try nicknames like Lizzy or Nick.

2. Try to be creative! dont name it too common! Think about seeing all those Maggies or Maxs in the park!

3 Try to make it sound different then commands. Kit sounds too much like Sit and Noah sounds like no And clover sounds to much like roll over.

4. Ask your friends for help! They might have loads of ideas. Try making a list at home of good names for your puppy.

5. Think about any realitives or good friends. Do they have names you could use? Maybe use you or your siblings middle names!

6. Try To make it easy to say, Not like Serrendippiti or Chanukka.
