Hydrocephalus is a condition where there is an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, leading to increased pressure. This can cause symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and in severe cases, cognitive and motor deficits. Treatment usually involves surgically inserting a shunt to drain the excess fluid.
