an exaggeration to something ex:the cat was big as a house
The wart on her nose was as big as a basketball.
It's writing that has hyperboyle sentences. Something like "he felt like a rotten egg" "her hair looked like she had used a mixer to style it" "my friend smells like skunk." ___________________________________ It is called satire. Go to the link and read Jonathan Swift's famous essay, A Modest Proposal, for one of the best examples. Outrageous. Hilarious. And written in 1729.
'Nirvana' is the upper most state of enlightenment according to the Buddhist faith that can be reached by some through meditation. 'Nirvana' is sort of like the Buddhist equivilant of the Christian heaven: it is the goal a Buddhist tries to achieve throughout the course of his/her life-- a goal only some will achieve. It is the purest state of tranquility and bliss-- the ultimate escape from our sad, tiring lives. So, to say 'that while even in Nirvana you will long for her smile' is to say that her smile is so much more than the greatest bliss imaginable (Nirvana)-- it is an intense hyperboyle. All summed up: her smile grants you more bliss/happiness than even Nirvana could offer, which is an intense amount. I hope this helped you out. Thanks for your time. ~ Leisure Suit Larry
